How we use artificial intelligence
Last updated:
Who you are talking to
Coach Nicobot is not a person. The replies are generated by an OpenAI language model. Nicole designed the approach, the material, and the judgement behind those replies, and she does not write each one.
How it can fail
A language model can be confidently wrong. It can invent a fact, misstate a figure, or suggest something that does not fit your situation.
Treat a reply as the start of a decision rather than the end of one. Check the numbers before you act on anything that costs you money.
Nothing the coach says is legal, accounting, tax, financial, or medical advice.
What gets sent to the model
To answer you, we send OpenAI your messages, the history of that conversation, and the relevant study material. If you ask for an image review, that image goes too. If you generate a thumbnail, the text you describe goes, along with your reference image if you supplied one.
We do not send your email or your name with those requests.
Before a thumbnail is generated, the text passes through an OpenAI content filter.
These requests travel to servers in the United States.
What we do with your conversations
We keep them so you can return to them and so the coach remembers your goals.
A short list of authorised people can read them to review the quality of the replies. Each read is recorded before the text reaches the screen.
We do not use your conversations to train models of our own.
What we ask of you
Write only what you are comfortable sharing. Keep passwords, card details, and other people’s documents out of the chat.
