Step by step

  1. 01

    Make a measurement sheet

    Track 800 by 800 for profile, 1200 by 480 for banner, 1920 by 1080 for offline, 320 pixels wide for panels, and 112 by 112 for emotes. Confirm each upload panel before export. Name files by asset and size, such as profile-800, banner-1200, and offline-1920.

    Set palette and type

    Choose background, accent, and text with enough contrast. Type must remain readable in small cards. That prevents a correction from replacing the wrong piece.

    Build the profile image

    Center a face, logo, or avatar and leave room for a circular crop. Nicole shows removing the background and adding color or a gradient. Before making ten panels, upload one and inspect its crop.

  4. 04

    Design the banner with safe space

    Leave the sides open and place name or socials where the interface will not cover them. Test desktop and mobile. The profile must work as an icon, the banner must survive its crop, and offline should prioritize the next useful moment. Do not publish a schedule you cannot maintain. Test social links in a private window. If a Canva asset has limited licensing, replace it before publishing.

  5. 05

    Carry the system into offline

    Use 1920 by 1080, a return line, and schedule. Animate only elements that do not compete with text.

    Make panels answer questions

    Export and inspect each file

    Use PNG for static pieces and MP4 only when the current panel accepts it. Open files before upload to check transparency and size.

    Upload and view as a viewer

    Upload one piece, open the channel, and inspect its real crop. Fix clipped text, weak contrast, or stale links before duplicating.

If something does not work

The banner cuts off the name
Center the text and test desktop and mobile crops.
The panel is hard to read
Reduce it to one idea, increase type size, and follow the shown width.
Offline rejects MP4
Confirm format and processing, then test a static version.
The profile loses the subject
Scale the subject up inside the square and leave circular crop room.

Common questions

Do Twitch and KICK use the same sizes?

Do not assume that. Use the measurements shown in each platform's upload panel. Upload one test asset, inspect its crop on desktop and mobile, and only then duplicate the system for the remaining pieces.
